Allston Village Main Streets

Pandemic Impact Relief Fund

While the COVID pandemic has largely subsided, small businesses in Allston are still feeling the adverse effects, through supply chain delays, inflation, employee recruitment, and other pandemic related issues. Allston Village Main Streets has set up a Pandemic Impact Relief Fund to award grants to small businesses in Allston to assist with ongoing issues. This grant cycle took place between December 2022 and February 2023. We were able to award grants out to 25 of our local businesses to help them with employee costs, inflation, supply chain issues, rent assistance amongst other things to help keep our small stores in business. We're so proud to have these amazing and hardworking small businesses in our neighborhood and very happy to have Edward Boches as a partner and photographer to document these hardworking business owners! Check out the portraits of our businesses below! All photos are by Edward Boches.

This grant fund is made possible through the community benefits agreement by EQ Exeter and the Boston Planning and Development Agency, and the tireless work of the Impact Advisory Group.
