About Us

A Vision for Allston

Allston Village Main Streets works to develop a thriving commercial district by assisting neighborhood businesses and promoting the physical and cultural vitality of Allston Village

About AVMS

Allston Village Main Streets is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to guide the development of Allston Village.

Founded in 1996, we work to help make Allston Village a thriving, safe, friendly business district, by beautifying and supporting the Allston business district, and promoting the health, cultural and artistic vitality of Allston Village.

AVMS provides technical assistance to new and existing businesses, locates grants to implement maintenance and design improvements, hosts events that draw people into Allston, and advocates on behalf of the neighborhood. Allston is a young, artistic, diverse food and entertainment centered commercial corridor, and the work we do helps to maintain it as a vibrant destination.

The programs and events AVMS runs is planned, developed, and executed by a small team dedicated to making Allston a great place to live, work, dine, shop and play! The work we do is made possible by civic-minded neighborhood volunteers and community partners.
