Allston's Art Box Project
Allston Village Main Streets, in coordination with The Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture and the Boston Art Commission, invites artists to submit proposals for the painting of 10 utility boxes in Allston! Once professionally painted, these 10 utility boxes will contribute to the vitality and attractiveness of Allston Village and deter graffiti and vandalism.

Participating artists will be awarded a $500 stipend from Allston Village Main Streets to complete this project, half of which will be provided before painting to assist with purchasing supplies.
Artists who qualify will fill out the paintbox application form and attach up to 3 conceptual designs for the utility box.
Selections will be made by AVMS’ Design Committee and the City of Boston
